Nataly's Corner in the #HardcastleZone: This album definitely shows the versatility of producer Paul Hardcastle as he expresses intensity in the composition of his music...and also why he can't be labeled as just a "smooth jazz" artist. First Light is where Paul brilliantly experiments with unique instrumentation to produce other sounds such as chants and African tribal sounds…certifying his skill in mastering sound mixes It might even be the first pre-introduction leading up to Paul’s Chill Lounge albums because I do hear some resemblance to earthy chillout tones, though a few of the songs on the CD have rhythmic beats that will make you want to get up and dance. Such is this case in this featured track.
